Lynsay Bell Manson

Lynsay oversees all aspects of the practice, from project running to business development

Lynsay founded LBA in 2012; and with a progressive outlook and a talented team of architects, artists, makers and strategic thinkers, the practice has grown organically to a thriving team of 17 over 2 locations.  The practice is celebrated for its work in the conservation and reuse of existing buildings, specialising in residential and commercial developments.

The essence of Lynsay’s practice is built on strong cultural values and relationships, having spent the past 8 years forming a collaborative network of Scottish talent.  Lynsay is dedicated to mentoring graduates and promoting the team’s career development, ensuring LBA’s ambitious staff are challenged and fulfilled.  She is currently serving as an examiner for the architectural chartership exam and is a keen member of Women in Property and Entrepreneurial Scotland, inspiring and learning from peers.

Outside of the office, Lynsay is currently undertaking a self-build project, renovating and converting her farmhouse and steadings in Kinross.  She manages this around raising a young family and tending to a growing herd of farm animals.
