Jeff Manson

Jeff oversees the practice’s finances and business development.

With 13 years’ experience in finance, Jeff has gained a unique understanding of business within various sectors, from start ups to global companies.  Completing his accountancy exams in 2008, Jeff initially worked as an accountant within the finance sector, before building his experience in accounting and business development roles within the food and drinks industry.  Managing budgets, cash flow, forecasting and crowd funding, he ensured that all decisions added value to drive business forward.

Gaining marketing experience at a tech start up, Jeff then channelled his diverse skill set to begin a recipe subscription company in Edinburgh.  With a clear insight into the inner workings of a business, from client relationships and marketing to management accounting, his background is invaluable at LBA.  Joining LBA in 2019, he is always looking for ways to push the office further, whether it’s introducing the newest technology or assessing our processes to ensure maximum efficiency.

Jeff has had a keen eye for design from a young age, juggling the choice of accountancy and architecture in his later years of school.  His design input is invaluable, from project photography to our brochures, website and annual magazine.

In his spare time Jeff is managing his own refurbishment and build project at his farmhouse in Kinross, which will soon be home to LBA’s second office.  Always looking for a challenge, Jeff loves taking part in the toughest and most obscure fitness trials he can find.  He juggles all of this with “daddy day care” – looking after Howie, our little LBA mascot.
