Stuart Campbell
Architectural Designer
Stuart recently joined the team at LBA, bringing experience from his time working at a St Andrews-based practice, where he contributed to projects ranging from extensions and sustainable new builds to charity and listed buildings. Additionally, Stuart worked in London during his placement year, focussing on residential led mixed use developments.
He gained his Master’s degree in 2019 from the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture and Built Environment in Aberdeen, where he was recognized as a finalist for the RIAS Silver Medal for Best Scottish Student and nominated for both the A&DS Urban Design Award and the AJ’s Student Prize. His thesis work has also been exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy of Art and Architecture’s Annual “Open Architecture” Exhibition in Edinburgh and at the Lighthouse in Glasgow.
Stuart recently became a Certified Passive House Designer and is eager to integrate this sustainable design approach into future projects.
Beyond his professional life, Stuart has a passion for woodworking and enjoys expanding his collection of workshop tools. He also enjoys baking sourdough bread and drumming for his band.
