Architectural services
As a Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) chartered practice, LBA is proud to offer comprehensive architectural services spanning from the initial feasibility and viability assessments through to completion on site, handover, and post-occupancy stages. Our work is structured around the RIBA Plan of Work, which delineates the process into eight stages, encompassing briefing, designing, constructing, and operating building projects. This framework guides our fee structure and our approach throughout a project’s lifecycle. We excel in unlocking a site’s full potential through innovative design and technical acumen, boasting considerable experience in navigating the construction stages under a variety of contract types.
The (RIAS) serves as the professional body for all chartered architects in Scotland, offering invaluable services and advice to both clients and architects. Our practice is committed to upholding the standards and requirements set by RIAS, leveraging their services to ensure we deliver the highest level of professional service to our clients.
At LBA, we also take pride in having three APEAS chartership examiners within our team. We are dedicated to fostering professional development, actively encouraging our staff to pursue their qualifications and become Architects Registration Board (ARB) registered. This commitment not only assures our clients of the expertise and qualifications of their architectural team but also underscores our adherence to rigorous professional standards and insurance requirements, providing peace of mind and assurance of quality.
