Caitlin Watson

Architectural Designer

Caitlin recently joined the dynamic team at LBA, bringing a Master of Architecture degree with Distinction from Robert Gordon University, earned in 2023. Her MArch thesis, titled ‘A Renewal is Looming,’ showcased her innovative vision by designing a recycled plastic textile mill in the Isle of Lewis, championing the principles of a circular economy.

During her university tenure, Caitlin demonstrated leadership as co-president of the 57°10 student architecture society and participated in the Scotland + Venice Professional Development Programme in 2023.

At LBA, Caitlin collaborates closely with fellow graduate architectural designer Kate, serving as CPD coordinator and contributing to culture workshops. Eager for growth, she is overseeing a hotel expansion project in rural Perthshire and contributing to residential ventures in Edinburgh.

Outside work, Caitlin enjoys netball and baking, showcasing her culinary talents at the annual LBA bake-off.
