Architectural Designer
Sam brings a fresh perspective to LBA as a newly qualified Part 2 Architectural Assistant, graduating with flying colors from Dundee University with a first-class degree in Masters in Architecture with Urban Planning. His exceptional academic performance earned him the prestigious Salterns Prize for being the top student in 2021/22.
With an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a penchant for innovation, Sam approaches every task with curiosity and a willingness to explore new ideas. His interdisciplinary studies have equipped him with a holistic understanding of the built environment, allowing him to seamlessly integrate architectural projects into broader planning policies.
At LBA, Sam is a valuable asset, providing support on various projects within the Edinburgh UNESCO world heritage site. Immersed in complex conversion projects and leading large design teams, Sam gains invaluable hands-on experience while contributing significantly to the firm’s portfolio.
Despite his rigorous schedule preparing for chartership exams, Sam remains dedicated to his personal interests. Whether attending gigs, playing rugby, or enjoying a round of golf, Sam embodies a balanced approach to life, enriching his professional journey with diverse experiences and passions.
